Nagekomen correspondentie.

Hoi Vincent, Jan en Jan, ik heb onderstaande mail doorgestuurd naar de wandelvriendinnen.

Bedankt voor de foto’s. Geweldig dat jullie onze steentjes echt meegenomen hebben. En nu maar hopen dat de steentjes het juiste werk doen. Ik heb met veel plezier jullie verslagen gelezen. Het is helemaal niet te vergelijken met de vierdaagse. Wij (en meerdere dames) hebben jullie wel gemist deze week. Wij hebben deze week een dag regen gehad en ik heb jullie meerdere malen in de regencape gezien. Toch zijn jullie verhalen alleen maar positief, er zullen zeker ook moeilijke momenten zijn geweest. Het lijkt mij een geweldige ervaring. Wie weet kom ik er ook nog eens... wij (Lia en ik) gaan volgende jaar beginnen met het Pieterpad. Eens kijken hoe dit bevalt, meer wandelen, minder feesten, maar vooral genieten!!

Ik wens jullie het allerbeste en hoop dat we elkaar nog eens ergens tegenkomen.

Nous sommes arrivés a Budel depuis un mois et nous avons repris notre vie “normale”. Vincent et moi, nous travaillons et Jan net travaille plus. Mais il n’a plus de vacances. Vous avez suivi notre pelerinage et c’était unt tres belle adventure.
Et vous? Vous aves accompli votre voyage aussi?

Bonsoir chers amis Hollandais,

Merci pour les photos ... beau souvenir ! Je viens de les transférer aux amis .
Comme prévu, nous avons marché jusque Villarmayor de Monjardin .
L'année prochaine, nous espérons pouvoir nous remettre en route jusque Santiago .

Notre boss, Pierre, a été opéré à l'épaule mais il va bien maintenant .
Georges s'est remis lentement à la marche dans les Cévennes . Il avait vraiment fourni beaucoup d'efforts sur ce chemin .
Sophie est partie pour un an !, pour un tour du monde avec son mari . Ils viennent d'ariver au Ladakh !!! ... bien connu de Jan .
Jacques et moi , nous irons bientôt passer quelques jours en Suisse, dans le Valais . Vive les vacances !

We, “the three wise men”, are back in Holland from are walk to Santiago de Compostella. We arrived in Santiago 18th of june and flied back on the 21th of june. Everything went well, we had no enjuries and had a nice time. We had a lot of rain in France, that was the one thing which was not so good. We met many nice people in Spain.
Maybe you followed us on our blog www.budelsantiago.waarbenjij.nu . You can still read our blog, where you can see a lot of pictures. Is sent some included.
How are you? I hope your knees and back are ok. We’d like to hear from you.
And when you come to Europe once more, you’re welcome with us in Holland,

I am very proud of my 3 wise men do have donna the santiago compostella all the way .. CONGRATSS :)

i hope you guys though and did very thing you wanted to have done.. it is a big step in your life ...
and yess i did follow you on your website almost very day !!!

For my part my knees are ok.. but the pain went up my back so i am seeing some specialist to help my heel.. so bess it still hurt but that doesn't stop me of keep going forward !!
I got accepted to university. i am starting next week.. sorry it took long to answer you i didn't have internet yet at my apartment. very thing is going well in my life.. i am probably gonna do compostella again .. and start from where i stopped :)

I will come see my 3 wise man for sure.. one day .. or maybe soon i will let you know .. thanks you again for all you help and support you boys help me really a lot ... maybe you don't realize it but because of you my life change and i still have your gift around my neck thinking about my moment with you very day when i see it :)

I'm very glad, that you write to me. I miss for Camino. Real world is boring.
I haven't job still, but I don't worry. I have hope, that I find new work soon. Now I'm at home with my mother, but I want change something in my life. :) Thank you for photos.

Hey, guys! How are you all doing?

It’s been just 3 months since we came back home, but sometimes it looks like it all happened yesterday. I have such good memories of that trip to Santiago and all the great friends I met there.

I followed your blog for a few weeks after I got to Santiago just to know where you were. I was glad to know that you got to Finisterre too. I made my way to Santiago on June 15th and went to Finisterre on the next day. On Sunday I watched the mass in the Cathedral and on the June 18th I got a plane to…… AMSTERDAM!! Yes, my friend booked the flight and I decided to visit him just for ONE DAY and then I came back to Brazil. Can you believe that? Amsterdam is one of the greatest cities I’ve visited in all Europe! I just loved everything about it and I hope to get back to Netherlands soon, maybe to visit Budel too! Who knows?

As you know, I was planning to get engaged as soon as I got back to Brazil. And the proposal happened by the end of July. It was great and it all happened on the top of a hill nearby Sao Paulo, my hometown. I posted a video on Youtube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GzffIDisYSo. Translating, it means “And this is how she said ‘Yes’”. We are very happy and there’s a whole new Camino ahead of us.

I’m also sharing some pictures I took on the Camino with you. I’m still assembling a photobook, but as it demands a lot of handwork, I’m taking too long. I hope I finish it by October.

I hope we keep in touch. If you ever decide to come to Brazil, just let me know. I think you will love it!
